Emergency Landing

On Wednesday March 29th, a Marine Helicopter from the Squadron One Presidential Unit HMX-1 made an emergency landing in the field next to the Chairville Elementary School. They made repairs and lifted off this morning to return to Washington DC.

Memorial Day Parade

Medford Memorial Day Parade

The Medford Memorial Day Parade will be held on Monday May 27th starting at 11a. The parade will start on Mill St. and progress out Trimble St. to Main St. Once on Main St., the parade will progress to the War Memorial in front of the Community Center for a brief ceremony. The parade will then continue on N. Main St. until turning onto Branch St. to proceed to several cemeteries in the Village.

Parking restrictions will be in effect starting at 9a along Main St., Trimble St. and portions of Branch St. Road closures of Main St. and its side streets will start at 10:30a.

Traffic Restrictions

Main St., Union St., Branin Road, and Chapel Ave. will have traffic restrictions on Saturday, May 25th between 8a-10a for the WIA-KIA 5K Run. The run will start and finish at Freedom Park. The route will involved a loop through the Village area including Union St., Cherry St. Main St., and Branch St. There will also be closures/limited traffic on Branin Road, Chapel Ave, and Allen Ave. Residents and business owners will be able to access the area by speaking with a police officer. Expect delays in the area.

Please take this weekend to remember all of the soldiers that have served our country to protect our freedom, especially those Killed in Action and Wounded in Action!

Congratulations to the Medford Fire and EMS Juniors for their outstanding first place finish at the junior competition held at the Burlington County Emergency Service Training Center!!!!!!!!!!! They have won first place the last three years!!!!!! And a great job by all of the junior advisers and members who helped to accomplish this!!!!!!
